The University of Oklahoma School of Dance welcomes you to our 2025-2026 season of exciting performances, guest artists in residence and workshops.

For performance tickets, contact the box office at 405-325-4101, Monday through Friday 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or starting one hour before show time.

Oklahoma Festival Ballet

Michael Bearden and Glenn Edgerton join forces to choreograph a reimagined ballet inspired by William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Magical spirits, nymphs and forest royalty bring light and life back to their woodland home. Boyko Dossev contributes a sparkling, elegant classical ballet to the program, and we are honored to present, Tsela, a premier by esteemed international choreographer, Rena Butler.

This production is suitable for all audiences.

Young Choreographers’ Showcase

An inspiring production brought to life by the creative energy of student choreographers in the School of Dance in collaboration with talented lighting design students from the Helmerich School of Drama. The result of this partnership is an evening of design and movement artistry that will resonate long after the curtain falls.

Contemporary Dance Oklahoma

Enjoy an evening exploring the beauty and variety of Modern Dance, featuring pieces choreographed by School of Dance faculty and guest Camille A. Brown, an award-winning choreographer who has a prolific career on concert and Broadway stages. Browns’ New Second Line, inspired by the events of Hurricane Katrina, celebrates the spirit and culture of New Orleans.

This production is suitable for all audiences.
